The United States has announced a new solar power project, which aims to generate enough clean energy to power over one million homes.  

The project, located in California, is expected to create hundreds of jobs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition, research teams from around the world continued to make progress in developing more efficient solar cells.   One team developed

a new type of solar cell that is more efficient than previous models and easier to produce. The new cell uses a combination of materials to

absorb different wavelengths of light, resulting in a higher conversion efficiency.

Another team of researchers developed a new method to recycle solar panels, making it easier and cheaper to dispose of old panels and reduce

waste. The new method involves using a chemical process to separate the materials in the panel, allowing them to be reused in new panels.
