Domestic crude steel output in July was 86.79 million tons, down 8.4% year-on-year, compared with a 9.1% increase in the same period

last year. At the same time, steel production fell by 6.6%, compared with an increase of 9.9% in the same period last year. The data showed

that production activity in the steel industry slowed in July this year.


In addition, steel exports were 5.67 million tons, a decrease of 790,000 tons from the previous month; Imports were 1.05 million tons, down

200,000 tons from the previous month. This shows that in the international market, China's steel demand has declined.
